I’ve always been a bit of a germaphobe, so what better way to face my fears than to dive headfirst into research about all things Germs. I almost wished I hadn’t. Did you know that flushing a toilet sends particles of germs several feet into the air? And that taxis and money carry loads of bacteria? So much you’ll want to wash your hands for days after getting your allowance? Well, now I know that and so much more thanks to my research for my newest book, Germs: Fact and Fiction, Friends and Foes, which released this month and was illustrated by my husband James. Check it out—and don’t forget to Wash Your Hands!
